First day.
Reached the Elston's home in Pt. Orchard. Everyone safe. Last outpost of civilization before heading into true camping country.
Thankful for the man that pulled into his home after seeing Marty cramping up on the side of the road and offered him ibprofen. Little provisions along the way.
Thankful for Jon and Misty, Sam and the two ladies, Chloe and Biscuit. Just that last bit of fellowship, encouragement before we embark on day Two. Still having a hard time accepting that we are really doing this!
Onto Lake Sylvia State park then to Cape Disappointment. Shelton is the last Starbuck's place before we hit Astoria.
