Layover day at the Oregon Sand Dunes. We played miniature golf for kicks. My family is miniature golf challenged. I'll leave it at that. We also went on a dune buggy thrill ride with the whole family. That was fun! The buggy driver said the sand dunes were a result of ocean currents colliding and pushing sediment from the rivers toward the beach where the wind pushes it inland. This is why the dunes are only found at this area on the west coast. It's really bizarre looking. Very cool. Tomorrow we stop our every other day bike riding and push three days straight (71, 86 & 84). This will test my knee. I'll have to remember that "age appropriate pace."
