Bandon to Harris Beach, Oregon: 86 miles
Boy, we are sure earning our miles. Once again headwinds are strong and it is cold and foggy for the bulk of the day. My left knee was really sore in the morning but by noon it was ok. Go figure. Butt is still sore. Fortunately the coast line was still distinguishable even with the fog. Lots of sea stacks. A couple of really big stacks were shaped like waves. It was cool.
I noticed something interesting. We are traveling slow enough to really see things but we can't stop to investigate because we must keep to the schedule. My recovery time at the hotel tonight seems to take longer than the last few days. Must be the consecutive days of biking. Tomorrow we ride 84 miles. The high is only supposed to be 60 degrees. It is July right?
