Lake Silvia State Park to Cape Disappointment State Park (Washington): 77 miles

Cold morning.  Need gloves to keep the fingers warm.  Again lots of hills and wind.  Still looking for that tail wind we are supposed to have.  Also, still need to maintain an "age appropriate pace" because my muscles seem to want to cramp up.  So far my pace works with Jordan's because I can go faster than him on the flats and downhill but he owns me on the uphill.  I'm curious how long that will last.

Again, lots of logging trucks (one every 10 minutes).  Hard to relax with those monsters brushing by.  We all had lunch together in Raymond.  I decided since we have a layover day tomorrow, we will cut today's ride 11 miles short at the Willapa Wildlife Refuge Headquarters.  We will make up those miles on the next day.  Good decision.  The WWR is beautiful.  Great road to bike on too.  Would love to see this place in the spring or fall when the migrating birds arrive in mass.
