Our first layover day at Cape Disappointment State Park in Ilwaco, Washington. My legs needed that. Especially my left knee, which started hurting between Raymond and the WWR.
This campground is really nice. Large and private with lots of trees. You can hear the waves crashing just beyond the dunes. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. We checked out the Long Beach strip. The Alligator Man changed my whole view of the world.
After lunch, Soo dropped off me and the boys at the WWR to finish the 11 miles to Ilwaco. A very pleasant ride.
